By the way, did you notice that israel and hamas close to an accord with egypt as intermediary. Israel and Syria going for a second round in Turkey and a possible summit at some european summit later in the year. Israel and Hizbo on the verge of a prisoner deal and some temporary truce there---believe that one being mediated by UAE.
Its not the US that is needed to make peace in the region---its the regionaires who now see the danger of iran expansion backed by nukes as well as the silliness of perpetual war against a state that aint going anywhere. And for israel, talking to the so-called terrorists or the so-called freedom fighters--pick your poison---even in pursuit of short term deals is superior to becoming south africa or crushing the enemy with overwhelming force or fighting terror groups to draws on the borders. For the Pals et al, maybe they are looking at the economic miracle that israel is becoming and the bankrupt state that iran is and perhaps they are drawing conclusions that will change the nature of the dispute. Hope so.
