For very bright kids, homeschooling can be a very good thing. But, it is a lot of work. Especially if you try to work in some socialization with their age peers. Which is one of the reasons why it is so difficult to keep homeschooling the more typical kids after grade 6 or 7. Note. When I talk about homeschoolers, I am not talking about "unschoolers". Or the ones that dress their kids in camos and spend much of the time learning how to handle and break down and clean weapons. There were a lot of camo kids that came out of the woods around Conroe. You know. The type that refer to their house as "the compound". And the Woodlands had some unschoolers. Both are weird, but in different ways.
