That's the theory KastelCo but the reality is that any land can grow food. Marginal lands are more likely to be grazed in reality as they are now. And of course if we have the animal protein boom I am anticipating I can foresee an epic struggle between cows and cars for carbon feedstock. The advantage cows have is they already have mastered the art of grass conversion to a valuable commodity. Organic infrastructure (the cow) versus stainless steel infrastructure in a cellulosic ethanol plant. One is far cheaper than the other. Interesting times ahead.
