How do you propose to fund your prius give away? $5K tax per year on inefficient vehicles goes to very efficient vehicle owners. That's just stupid - first you claim to care and now you don't care - hot cold, make up your mind if you want to try to solve the problem of just sit on your ass and complain. They should have to drill within three years of the setlement of the lease. Use it or lose it... and lose your upfront money. Bottom line is we need the oil a lot more than we need the downpayment on the leases.
