The problem, of course, is that your view of the "right" decision isn't anymore right than my view or anyone else's.

The reason America is great is that people are allowed to make their own decisions.

We don't want you and other liberals making them for us.

Not really - the cars (especially prius) are already sold out and the line is long. A subsidy would only encourage gouging and we'd need to have hearings in congress - even my Honda Fit took three months to get from the date I ordered - and it's not a hybrid.
