Think of all the really qualified, and motivated teachers that would leave the public system to start their own private schools if given the chance.

Of course Unions are against vouchers. This is so typical of compassionate liberals.

The slight of hand is substituting charter schools for vouchers. Charter schools are government schools by a different name. Their chief purpose is to distract us from the need for real change.
