How about another 10% decline in price has 30% of all mortgages underwater. That will cause abandonment and foreclosure to grow, not diminish.
You say gas will get worse unless we act quickly. Other than showing determination to confront energy problem, what specific actions can be done immediately to help that will get bipartisan support.

Housing problem is worse than gas.

The housing problem is cyclical and will get better. The gas problem will only get worse, quickly, unless we act.

Agreed. Michael is fooling himself if he thinks its the reverse.
