what happens if the price falls to $70 and $3? The motivation goes away as after the 70s. I posed the same question to John and since you are his "right" hand man, you guys need to come up with an answer because I can't.

As you know, I believe the high price of gas is a huge motivator, so if additional production resulted in complacency, I would be opposed to it.

Good point. But as the number of consumers increase around world, more oil is needed just to stay in the same place - until the alternatives kick in.
