There are a few folks on SI with contacts in Obama's campaign. I've been trying for months to get somebody to at least read the Oil Drum, perhaps even open a dialog about the enrgy plan. I notice he is now talking about railroads; just a small step from there to electric rail. Message 22500510 Yes, we can, but it's gonna take a hell of a lot of effort. OTH, the president is the landlord for 80K pieces of real estate and the owner of a massive vehicle fleet. That's a good place to start making changes, and doesn't require congressional action, just executive orders.
