the new over / under on ex president income over the decade following his presidency is $100 million. that's a big incentive to cater to the people who can pay that kind of dough. the first step is to lie to the electorate to get elected because nobody will ever get elected 1. telling the truth and 2. saying one is getting elected to "get theirs," which also happens to be the truth. speaking of truth, i read the the average healthcare liability of every american, given current obligations, stands at about $500,000. a coworker recently spent 5 days in the hospital at a cost of $50k. better get a second job. i actually expect things to change as baby boomers decide they want someone else to pay for their health care bills now that they've reached retirement age. healthcare and gas prices may well bring this nation down to its knees.
