Are you interpreting disagreements with your "slay the SUV" as opposition to conservation?

Now here is something for you to think about:

I am going to close blinds on my windows if nobody is in the room. This way, if I am not using the light coming from the sun, I am conserving the energy of the sun.

Good point. Its insane. What a message it would send to the world that we got are act together enough to reduce consumption by 5%.
