"You mean we finally can agree on something....??" If you can look beyond your ideology, you'd be surprised what we agree on. "Also agree and as I've pointed out before some (if not all) of those royalties should go towards funding alternative energy sources." Good point. Personally, I believe we should never have abandoned alternatives. It never was a big ticket item. And it kept options open. Whether or not we are a peak oil, sooner or later we will be there. Before we get there, I'd like to have alternatives in place. Yeah, we always have Project Orion and bases on the Moon and L5. But, I'd like to see those plans in something like a final stage.
