Fortunately the flooding hasn't been very deadly.

A lot of destruction and displacement, a lot of homeless people, lost crops, etc. but not a lot of death.

In terms of death it resembles a bad car accident more than a serious natural disaster. That's the silver lining in this dark cloud.

Edit - Considering other states its worse than a car accident, but still much lower than many other cases where large areas where flooded.
