Manganese series ferroalloy prices increasing due to cost push

steelguru.com

It is reported that domestic offer price for Manganese series alloy inches up with soaring cost. And steel mills' purchase price remains flat amid weak transactions.

1. High carbon FeMn65 offer price stands at CNY 12000 per tonne to CNY 13000 per tonne in domestic market

2. Medium carbon FeMn78C2.0 offer price stands at CNY 17800 per tonne to CNY 18500 per tonne

3. FeMn 65Si17 offer price stands at CNY 11400 per tonne to CNY 12000 per tonne

4. FeMn60Si14 offer price stands at CNY 9400 per tonne to CNY 9700 per tonne

As per report, transaction price for Manganese series alloy remains flat due to dull transactions. Due to the rainstorm in Guangxi, Hunan and Jiangxi etc. the local Mn ore exploitation has been restrained. And the halved output is lagging far behind the real demand.

Therefore domestic Manganese ore price also moves up supported by the rising import price. And Mysteel believes the price for Manganese series alloy would edge up in near future underpinned by rising Manganese ore price.
