When was the last time CAFE was raised? What is the level of funding for research? States like california have been doing this on their own - there's more ethanol in fuel than ever before and billions in alternative projects both government and private are announced every other month. Pickens for example is the most recent. Check the site: eere.energy.gov I know geologists in the field. If you think they haven't been shooting seismics in areas they currently aren't allowed to drill, you are, at best, naive. If a large deposit were found, their company would, umm. make the donations required to make it possible. Isn't that the claims today against the "oil" president?
