I was thinking along the same lines, as to what can potentially be sold. Timing is not quite right, since SP1 is not where it needs to be in production to replace Fab25 output amd there is the problem of a lot of parts being on > 65 nm nodes.

One thing though, Fab 25 is 65nm capable - and there was some 65nm output as well. But Spansion said that 65nm was the last node for 200 mm fabs, so there is a definite fork on the road: convert to 300mm in the future or phase out.

Lack of cash and lack of demand for 2 300mm fab worth output in NOR market probably dictates eventual phase out (unless Spansion can enter data storage in a much bigger way).

But as I said, the timing is not right. I would expect something like this to happen a year from now...
