LIAR. There was nothing in Rather's story which was false. Nothing. In fact it was only the tip of a very embarrassing iceberg for GW Bush who not only went AWOl from the Guard but was arrested for cocaine that year and had it swept under the carpet by his powerful father.

Rove's dirty trick against Rather was a fascist type hit job. Nothing else.
