"The General Welfare" means the well being of the country, not welfare as liberals invented it. lol

In the Constitution the word "welfare" is used in the context of states and not persons. The "welfare of the United States" is not congruous with the welfare of individuals, people, or citizens.

If the founding fathers knew that our government was going to be paying people to sit around on their fat asses, they never would have bothered. That's an interpretation beyond debate.
