It's responding to new information, and changing your mind. I know that's a sin for idealog Neos.

But frankly I think you are mostly pissed because he can and will spend 2X what McCain spends... because Obama supporters are willing to put their money where their mouth is.

What choice did he have? McCain did it for the primaries. Even though he had opted in on public money.

That is, before he flip-flopped on the issue.
