But the real reason i like what i am seeing is that a guy like this can deal with the putins of the world. Bush looked into putins heart and got it wrong. Obama wont make that mistake ever.

He isn't running against Bush, he's running against McCain.

You are quite enamored with Obama. But it is abundantly clear that he will do or say anything to get elected. Including lying where necessary, changing positions to accommodate perceived political needs, etc.

You cannot run a government in this way. While today, it is clear most people think Bush is a failure, the reason he'll be remembered favorably in history is that his determination to see through this war yielded the result we needed -- even thought the American people didn't have the stomach for it.

If you look at the true greats in political history, the people who are remembered favorably after 50 years, they are consistently people who made tough decisions and stayed with those decisions through thick and thin.

A man who changes his position to accommodate the political winds cannot be a successful president. Clinton's legacy, while still fairly strong, is devolving into the realization that, for example, his lack of political will resulted in 9/11. Now, history hasn't concluded that yet, but it will.

One of the key attributes a president must have is the integrity and sheer guts to stick with a position the American people find to be politically unpopular.

Obama doesn't have that. I think McCain probably does. Neither rates with Bush, who is likely to be remembered very favorably after you and I and dead and gone.

where do you come up with this ?? Obama couldn't look into Rev Wrights eyes or Rezko. All Putin has to say is I'll buy you a house and Obama will say OK what every you want.

I am a political junkie so i love it. Obama is real smart and despite the pretty boy facade, he is as tough as nails.

And judging by his campaign, a real control freak. I'm a little more impressed each day.
