who knows....more deep drilling this year....probably lead to an upward revision of tonnage and grade....ask a mining engineer how much grade and tonnage is needed for underground block caving. I don't know cost, but I do know that Freeport mines by underground block caving at an average grade of 1% cu and 1 gm au per tonne. Proably would need a ventilation shaft and one of those spiral decline thingees if ground water isn't too big an issue eh? as far as good mining labor goes, lots of workers from the philipines in Ft McMurray. Maybe some of those experienced philipino open pit and block cave miners could be hired by Canadian miners?
