I don't think the Del Prado's will sell.
Godfather Del Prado founded the company and I believe he can't say goodbye for now.
The same accounts for his son, now CEO of the company, Chuck Del Prado. He's the boss now for a couple of month, and wants to prove he can run this company before he sells his shares.
If they really were negotiating they wouldn't reject the new offer, but wait another week instead. I also believe Applied will not raise the price.
Wait for another 2 to 3 years, then they will sell, not now, which means the stockprice will slump next week.
