7.62 m of massive coal is only 1/3 of GXS, but is very good by most other standards. The 11.62 m of Breccia coal may not be economic.

However, the gist of your post is that coal in the Mannville formation is present 70 km away from the GXS discovery. That makes the possibility of there being coal only 10 km away for BTT and others seem very reasonable.
