I don't believe he said anything objectionable about the woman at all. You see racism behind every tree. I think the articles were endearing.

If that is Obama's grandmother, the only thing that might be objectionable is why he doesn't help them move into more comfortable surroundings. I guess I could understand if he was estranged from his fathers side of the family because his father abandoned him. Though I thought the thrust of his book was that he'd found his roots and made them all family.
