I like what you're saying here. You're actually even more liberal than I would have been. I think you really make a good point about our not supporting the "sunshine policy" more fully. We should have let S. Korea LEAD on this and supported their efforts to open the border more enthusiastically. I think we should have been pushing N. Korea to actively pursue the Chinese model. Once a country gets a little taste of Capitalism, they have a tough time maintaining the status quo.
