...how the hell do people like this get elected? ... First, it's Kalifornia. We vote socialist and or liberal out here. Second, her district is the safest in the country. Always democrat. Third, her constituency consists of 10% white, 34% black, 47% hispanic. This may change in another 20 or 30 years as the poorest of hispanics and asians are moving into this district. I am not holding my breath on this happening. Last January she came out in support of Clinton. I assume that has since changed.
