You're right, I'm no farmer.

But I do have enough common sense to know that replacing the oil being used to power our economy with food, is one of the stupidest things politicians buying votes with their farm subsidies, have come up with in a long time.

The problem is that there has been a mania of construction on biofuel plants over the last few years, Ish. The group in the url's below claimed production of near 80 million gallons of biodiesel as of November 06 and another 300+ million gallons of production either under construction or proposed. You know that the state & federal governments were egging them on.

I wonder what their per gallon production cost is at 6-8 dollar corn.....glad my money is not tied up in any of it.
