I think we need to "drill our way thru the transition", while working hard on alternatives.

Unfortunately, most people agree with the second part of your statement. They seem to think that the Government is able to solve our energy problems by research on alternative energy. Not realizing that they not only can't solve them but what they do interferes with the people who can really solve them.

Favoring various methods with tax credits and grants not only wastes money, it slants the research into "approved" ways to do it.

But we won't stop wasting time and money.

The Left isn't offering any alternatives, nor have they done so for the last 30 years!
