Your suggestion that Hedge fund customers are withdrawing money, during their redemption period, and moving it into US Treasuries is an explanation that fits what I'm seeing.

It's clearly an awful lot of money from a lot of clients this time. Thank you for the reference.

We'll see how much money makes it's way to the market July 1. It would be nice to buy in for a significant bounce in popular stocks, but I'll believe that when I see it.

So much of the 401k money goes into company stocks or something like an S&P index that I think the market may continue to feel leaden.
