We're at $4.30/gallon now.

The Chevy Volt battery charge is only good for about 40 miles, but many folks drive less than that in a typical day. For longer trips, it has a gas-powered generator with enough fuel to last 300 miles or so. If you run out of gas, you just pop into a gas station as usual.

I saw a feature where tankers carrying ethanol from Brazil drop off part of their load in US ports, get the $1 subsidy for the entire load from the US, and then go to Europe for a better price on the rest.

If we're letting that happen, we have nobody to blame but ourselves.
