A fishing town in MA - I'm sure its a white town. Social problems start or appear in the black community first but don't stay there.

The story was on local tv here------girls interviewed were mostly white. In the interviews, it appeared that they were having the children without thinking about the implications of being a parent and of being a parent without a father or marriage. One young woman was open about what a mistake she had made with wanting to deliberately have a child without thinking about the responsitilities that came with being an unwed mother and what it would do to her life. These young women will survive; but the life they have before them will not be easy. mj
