I hear the echo of the New Deal - on steroids. The stuff coming out of the democrats is exactly what the New Deal was designed to avoid. Even the most radical New Dealers weren't advocating nationalizing major industries.

Obama doesn't know that this isn't the Great Depression and socialism has been tried and found wanting.

The secular Religion of the 20th Century. They will never give it up. Interesting how $4 gas is backfiring on them. They thought they could blame it on Bush, but "drill the sidewalks" makes senses to people.
