When one is in pain, medication becomes an addiction. Doctors prescribe one----if that doesn't help then let's try another. The reasons that Americans end up on pain addicting medications are numerous----------may be an autoimmune disease, an accident of anykind can send the best man or woman into a loop of unbearable pain, a surgical procedure of almost any kind can send the body into a state of pain that is unbearable.
