GE borrowing money is a bit different from the government borrowing it. One has the power of issuing currency, the other doesn't. Thanks for those links. I'll have to take a closer look. If I'm going to hold cash, it's better to hold it with the government, as it's one fewer link in the chain to bankruptcy, fiat destruction, or confiscation. But I'd rather not hold cash. I'm hoping for an inspiring investment to show up soon. Mqurice
