OMG, you play such mind games. Can you not think in a straight line? If SK takes over responsibility for its military while we promise to come to their aid should they have trouble, what's changed? The status quo remains essentially the same while we save a bunch of money.

I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but the diplomatic work that would be required would be substantial for an already overtaxed State department.

The only reason they are overtaxed is because Bush put his incompentent cronies into the dept. And don't even think about throwing out some superlatives regarding Rice.....she'll be lucky if she has a teaching job at Stanford when all is said and done.

Your understanding of these issues is obviously minimal to nonexistent.

As if you know......the one person on this thread who has been
