Obama is a pragmatist. I'd expect to see several of these "centrist" moves as the general election campaign goes on. He knows to change anything, he has to win first. To win, he has to get the centrist moderates and even disaffected centrist (R)'s. McSame has already sent a lot of the disgusted hard right home to sit out this election. He's about as exciting as gummed oatmeal.
