I've been floating along just shorting indices's. The market will rally enough sometimes to trigger my stops, but I just wait until it tops and keep shorting. Steady money, no real work involved.

I've got a little loose cash, give me a tip on oil or guano.

Wild cat drillers with decent earnings: rexx, pdo, geoi, mxc.

Of the 4 right now, I only recommend geoi. I've been in it since $8-9 and again at $14. Very profitable, small float......had a big pullback two weeks ago because it did a special share offering well below its going price. I think whoever did the offering didn't know what they were doing........I think its a definite buy......the others have moved up so much, its hard for me to recommend them.

More speculative wildcat drillers: husa, fpp, gte.

I own lots of GTE.....I am up 100%. I was getting ready to sell some but someone called Cramer about the stock last nite and said to keep buying under $7. I didn't know he was following the stock.....so I am holding and buying more under $7....I guess. I started to buy some FPP and was going to buy more before the close yesterday but decided to wait a day. Wrong move! Its up a buck this AM. Scheisse! So I don't know what to tell you about it.

Chinese fertilizer company......profitable: NOEC.

I am buying a little here, little there......the stock is essentially doing nothing right now....I figure it will wake up at earnings.

Commodities........: CDS.

Stock was recovering nicely until the Chinese quake. I think it will pick up soon.

The rest of the drillers and well service: EGY, PKD, BQI:

What can I say.......all three have stocks have been moving up. Have not bought any of them.

Proceed at your own risk! ;-)

BTW I wouldn't count on GTE going under $7. The chart doesn't look like its setting up that way. The next move I think is up, not down.
