The rightwing politicians have screwed the rightgwing base more than they have screwed anyone. Tell me one NASCAR Dad or Hummer driving "big man" who's smiling about Bush-Cheney now as they spend $100 to fill up their tanks and lose their homes, jobs and health care. Real macho guys, those Bushies. Actually they're mainly corrupt egghead closet cases, but they did screw us over, especially the southern rural white males. They got the worst of it. A lot of them are maimed and dead in Iraq too, all for a pack of lies and corruption.
