But there was something the other day about SPSN's partners being willing to create speciality products optimized for EcoRam given the apparent EcoRAM advantages. I suspect that first applications will be EcoRAM drop in replacements for DRAM, but MOBOs designed specifically for EcoRAM will follow later. These will probably be needed to really highlight Virident's advantages. Those 75% energy savings seem only to apply to a DRAM swap, but I'm sure there are other related energy savings such as cooling etc. I'm interested in what Virident' GreenGateway brings to the table. There have got to be other advantages besides energy savings from just a EcoRAM for DRAM swap. Virident should have more to say on that today, hopefully. The EcoRAM advantages mentioned would seem to bode well for Eclipse in wireless applications as well.
