I really liked his old stuff though some was pretty foul. Later in life your opinion is exactly what struck me. Nasty also comes to mind. He pretty much lost me when he went on a tirade about Chelsea's looks after Bill was elected the first time. Extremely nasty towards a young teenage girl. Not funny at all.

When HBO was new I taped a Carlin special on my tape deck/ radio. Later my father was in ICU and a nurse asked me to bring him a radio to listen to ball games so I took the radio to him forgetting it had a Carlin tape in it. One of the Nuns noticed the tape and started to play it. The next day I was given the tape and told never to bring it back.
