Chris, > I used to not like to short the market. I used to even think that shorts were evil. But, I've come around to making money whether the market is going up OR down. And to understand the creative destruction of shorting is a good thing.

Nothing wrong with shorting stocks. The risk is inherently greater than going long, but the returns are not. Anyone with moral compunctions about shorting stocks should console themselves in that fact.

Good luck ...

In the current environment, it's difficult to pick stocks that go up

Alt energy. Volatile but in general up.

It's not a moral thing not liking to short it's an emotional thing. I like being positive.
