WOW!

Your Mother sounds like a very accomplished person. She had a full life, and what appeared to be lots friends, joy and excitement brought on by what appears to be a profound curiosity. From school to work to travel, hobbies, art, charity and spiritual exploration.

It sounds like she took advantage of every opportunity, and I'm sure she was proud of her family and happily fulfilled with all that life had to offer.

A remarkable women indeed.

A beautiful obit. It reflects the love of her family so well. When my wife died, many years ago, a long time friend, who had recently lost his own wife, told me "you may never get over this but you will get used to it." That's what you will experience. God Bless your entire family.

Your mother sounded like a remarkable woman. Is it any wonder you turned out to be the loving, caring, intelligent person that you are. Always remember, "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle."

William Ross Wallace (1819-1881)
THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE IS
THE HAND THAT RULES THE WORLD.

BLESSINGS on the hand of women!
Angels guard its strength and grace.
In the palace, cottage, hovel,
Oh, no matter where the place;
Would that never storms assailed it,
Rainbows ever gently curled,
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

Infancy's the tender fountain,
Power may with beauty flow,
Mothers first to guide the streamlets,
From them souls unresting grow—
Grow on for the good or evil,
Sunshine streamed or evil hurled,
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

Woman, how divine your mission,
Here upon our natal sod;
Keep—oh, keep the young heart open
Always to the breath of God!
All true trophies of the ages
Are from mother-love impearled,
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

Blessings on the hand of women!
Fathers, sons, and daughters cry,
And the sacred song is mingled
With the worship in the sky—
Mingles where no tempest darkens,
Rainbows evermore are hurled;
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.
