A familiar story. My neighbor has a peach and an apricot tree in her small yard. The squirrels rarely let the fruit get ripe. She has no way to keep them away as they jump from the fence or roof directly into the trees.

You need to make cones to put around your trees. They will bypass just flat metal. You need something that goes around the trunk and slopes outward until it's about 24" wide or 12" wider then the tree. Little else will stop the sly little shits. I make them all the time for people with bird feeders. And if your tree's are close enough together if they get in one they will be in all.
