I've got a 1995 18 foot Regal Bow rider. Has a 3.0 l Merc stern drive making 135 hp. Really terrorizes the bigger boats on the intercoastal - LOL

Bought from a friend a few years for $8,500. One of those situations where he needed cash today to keep the bad boys away. 20 gallon tank and can run it all weekend on a tank.

Considering its worth about what I paid for it, I've been a happy boat owner.

Wouldn't catch me buying a 27 ft fishing boat.

I just came back from two days on the water. Did 52 miles, used 5 gallons of gas (Imperial) = about 10 m.p.g. Something to be said for a slow (displacement speed) hull.
