Not true. Carter is a great-great man. The dishonest rightwing's smearing of Carter neglects two HUGE facts which are not Carter's fault at all, the collosal Vietnam War debt which hgit during Carter's years, and the massive revolt of the oil-rich Arabs against the west. Also, I suspect Carter's daring hostage rescue mission to Iran was sabotaged by Ollie North type traitors, but even it was an accident caused by a freak sand storm, if that daring mission had succeeded he'd have been viewed as a tremendous hero. Also, Carter had a wonderful huge solar energy program he started which would have had us off Arab oil 100% by now. Reagan scrapped the whole thing at the behe4st of corrupt big oil tycoons. Finally, Carter is the ONLY true Christian president we have had in our lifetimes. Next to him, Bush is a devil worshipper.
