I spent 16 years in West Virginia (still have main plant there) which has the best coal in the US. Japan buys most of it due to high BTU and low sulfur. And having drilled all over WV and eastern Kentucky even though you may not find profitable depth seams, it is every where. So if GXS has hit these lenghts & depths watch all the area plays surrounding them as it is very likely they also will have it. Coal unlike metal deposits or oil/gas runs for miles and miles.
