Sure, I just don't think opening up ocs and raising global production somewhere around 0.5%-1% in 10+ years is going to be much magic koolaid either. Drilling is fine, I think Bush was wrong to sign the moratorium (although he had Jeb to look after at the time), and I think Obama is mistaken to oppose it. But this talk about drilling or not drilling is a huge diversion, a huge hit of the crack pipe for nothing more than political points. No thinking person who looks at the numbers could believe that it is a reality based solution. All it is to me is just another sad parade of amateurs who are trying to steer the good ship America.
