You know gardening. I know politics. I wrote hundreds of letters for governors, commissioners and Division directors. There is a language one uses when writing those letter. Those who learned the language could always get employment becasue heads of agencies needed personal who knew how to keep them out of trouble and solve problems. It also means I saw the good, the bad and the ugly in politics for most of my life. Just as it probably does not take you long to figure out what kind of grapes you can grow in what type of soil e.g. drainage, etc; I learned a lot about people by having to coordinate so many agencies. Obama is a rare person and as mentioned, thank god he popped up.
