I was thinking about the "circuit breakers" that automatically close the markets for specified times when plunges occur.

wonder if the market will trigger some trading stops today? And Friday! Will anyone want to own anything over the weekend? I got stopped out of a position I held less than a day yesterday... but so far nothing more today. Right on the cusp. Two of my accounts are green......one is in the red but not too badly. As far as I can tell, there are only three things working right now: energy, the metals esp. steel, and fertilizers. I feel sorry for people who bought RIMM just before the close yesterday. Even Cramer thought it was a good idea. WRONG!
