The issue goes well beyond guns. Already the Supreme Court decided that eminent domain allows the government to take property from poor people and give it to the rich just because the rich pay more taxes.

Certain rights are being eroded and new rights are being conjured out of thin air simply at the prerogative of nine elderly scholars inside the Beltway.

Some of us are going to own guns no matter what the gummint says - right Eric?

I've always stayed on the side of legal/responsible gun ownership - not sure I'd just up and decide to be a criminal.
